In truth we don’t know when The Portland will be able to welcome overnight guests but here’s how preparations are taking place to make your stay that extra bit special.
1. Flexibility
Uncertainty is rife and you shouldn’t be burdened with worry about your booking with The Portland. For all direct bookings the following applies:
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours prior to your arrival date due to COVID-19 symptoms. That means you can cancel for free even on the day before you’re due to arrive.
- Free rescheduling or 50% charge for cancellations on your day of arrival due to COVID-19 symptoms.
- Free cancellation or rescheduling on your booking should government restrictions directly impact your stay.
2. A Welcome Beverage
Book directly to stay in 2021 and you’ll have prosecco (or non-alcoholic alternative) in your room on arrival. Enjoy a drink on us; before you head out for dinner, after a long day of shopping, or even before you unpack.
3. Complimentary on-road Parking
The most stressful part of any break can be the travel, but we’re here to help. Our fantastic location limits our ability for onsite parking, however for all direct bookings in 2021 on-road parking as close as a minute walk from the front door will be included complimentary. Prior to arrival we’ll send you a map with all the included roads and discuss any support you might need with luggage. Another worry to tick off the list.
4. An Award Winning Breakfast
Your day will start on the front foot after a restful sleep as you fill up on an award winning breakfast. The buffet might physically be a part of the past, but you’ll still be spoilt for choice with all the options available directly from the kitchen. A perfect start, everyday.
Peace of Mind
In addition to all of these points cleanliness remains a focal point throughout the guesthouse. Guest and staff safety is of utmost importance to us, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have an enjoyable stay.
The Government are due to update the regulations in England from 22nd February and The Portland guesthouse will act on this advice.
