Georgian Grandeur at The Portland

183 years after first opening as a guest house, The Portland provides you with a home from home experience in a late-Georgian property.

From the moment you step through the deep red front door you’ll experience a taste of Regency elegance. All seven ensuite bedrooms are empathetically styled to suit the building and each individual in decor.

The sumptuous bed will provide a heavenly night sleep, woken by the smells and taste of a homemade breakfast. A leisurely stroll will flaunt more regency buildings including Pittville Pump Room.

So, whether you are visiting family, exploring the Cotswolds or attending one of the world famous festivals…

We're good to go
The building has been beautifully renovated and has fine period plasterwork on the ceilings and cornices. It was lovely to stay in such an historic home. Our twin room was spacious, characterful and comfortable and had everything we needed.
