Cotswold Farm Park is nearby and a great day out for half term in February as it is lambing time.

Another great place to visit is the FlyUp Bike Park which is about a 17 minute drive from The Portland and is one of the biggest mountain bike facilities in the country with a dirt jump site and outdoor trails, there is also a café and shop on site.
